Rewards for getting good grades

This year I'm very determined to get good grades. If get A's my dad gives me five dollars per A and I'm aloud to buy anything I want if I get straight A's I think I will use the money and get games for my new Nintendo Wii. I have been really wanting a game called Smash Brothers Brawl. I played it at my friends house even though he destroyed me at it, I still thinks it's a fun game. My dad also let's me play my X-Box 360.

Memory I would bottle up

If I could bottle up any memory it would be when me and my friends family had a six hour party at my house my friend showed me a game called Minecraft I thought it was cool. Then me and my friend played Left for Dead. we had fishsticks and pretzels for dinner. When we were playing Minecraft my friend made a castle for me. I thought it was really cool.

My favorite movies

I love so many movies, I love  the Lord of the Rings trilogy and I also like Harry Potter. Me and my dad and my sister would watch those together with me we also watch Zombieland sometimes. I went and saw The Hobbit an Unexpected Journey a month ago it was really good. My dad and me also love the X-Men Trilogy.

Should we have school on Veterans Day

I think we shouldn't have no school on Veterans Day. We should stay home and think about the soldier who gave their lives to keep our country safe. Also we should talk to our grandparents who served in the war. It's  weird that we have M.L.K. day off but not Veterans Day. I think we shouldn't talk about Veterans we should visit them.

Why would someone do that?

After reading this story, I wonder why people were drnking and firing AK-47s and  Why would someone do that? Luckilly the police found the two guys that were commiting the crime. Not only were the criminals shooting and drinking, they also had some drugs on them. I don't think we should bann guns from the U.S. because,you never know if someone is going to try to break in your home or do some crazy thing. Click here to read this story!

Me and my dad

Me and my dad spend so much time together he helps me a lot. He helps me with my homework and he plays video games with me. sometimes we play Gears of war or Left for dead, but we mostly play Halo. Some other things we do are play chess and watch movies and play catch.

Dear Mrs. DeBolt:

My name is Carl Maschmeyer I'm in computers this quarter and I hope to learn some new things a bout computers. I also hope I can learn to type faster I'm not really a fast typer but I 'm an accurate typer. One time last year in Mrs. Steighorst class we had a typing contest and I did really good at first but fell a little bit short in the end. I hoping to get a little bit faster this year. My two friends Nolan and Patrick are kind of like me they love video games however they fight  alot about which one is better Patrick says That Microsoft is better while Nolan says Nintendo is better I like them both alot I think their both super fun.

My favorite video game series is the Halo series my dad loves it too, and so does Patrick.But Nolan on the other hand doesn't really.I also like Left for dead and Gears of war. I just got a Nintendo Wii from my uncle however, I don't have many games but I'm going to have lots of fun.

I really want to learn about computers I love technology but I don't really know much about computers,but my dad does he sometimes teaches me about them.Something I think is weird though I use them almost every day I do alot of projects on the computer and I sometimes play games on the computer. I love computers and I want to learn more.

Trains

The train tracks remind me of the train set my dad has, It is so cool. My dad has a restaurant too he has lots of Hot Wheels cars too to go with the train set. We recently got a train station for it you can either have one big train station or two small ones. For Christmas this year my grandpa got me and my dad a Saint Louis Cardinals train to add. My dad use to go to Checkered Flag but they closed down.

what I did last weeekend

Last week I went to my uncles new apartment, he finally got an X-box 360. He got the remake of Halo 1 with it. he played through the game and loved it. he got some 3-D glasses with the game and played it in 3-D.
